I've been very happy with this winch once a troublesome installation... At one purpose I used this to tug rock bottom out from below a 60ft poplar tree that wedged into the bottom and hung up on another tree once I cut it. i do know from the past that a come-along or perhaps dragging with chains would not have budged it. Speed is additionally faster than most.

HOWEVER, the bolts I received with the winch (1/2in) wouldn't even work through the mount holes! I went and purchased four, 7/16in grade eight bolts and also the nuts slot in the proper facet of the winch however not the left(?!) three/8 was too little therefore I had to grind down 3 edges on the pinnacle of two of my 7/16 nuts to induce this to mount, a royal pain! nice superwinch epi9.0s though therefore i suppose it's definitely worth the bother.

Also, i would suggest about to a steel wholesaler and obtaining 1/2in plate steel to drill and mount to, save lots of cash off the retail plate. move to myspaceDOTcom/jbtvt and click on pics to check the method I used.

Awesome winch. Super worth and quality. Have used repeatedly in mud and snow and it's powerful and does not sap my battery. Mounted perfectly in my XHD modular winch mount bumper. I didn't have any hardware issues. The sq. nuts work perfectly within the winch ""legs"". Due check on dimensions for your winch plate and also the dimensions of this winch.
